My name is Ana V Peralta, CSPO
Hi there, I’m Ana V Peralta, User Experience Designer, CSPO and User Experience Strategist based in Austin, Texas. You may have come across my work on Dell IT Support site or seen my strategy work on Facebook’s Transparency reports or may you have booked Business trips to Disney Corporate Retreat e-brochure + website to build magical itineraries with your colleagues. Although I received an Undergraduate degree in International Business with Honors from Florida International University, I have been able to apply an inclusive perspective for International audiences to my work for brands with products with a global presence. I have experience in Digital and UX across several sectors including IT, hospitality and social media. I now specialize in applying Design Thinking to develop websites, web applications and mobile applications to set them up for customer engagement and usability success. My favorite part about my career has been the spectrum of ways that I've been able to simplify and improve the quality of lives of people. As the digital world has evolved, every individual should feel comfortable to take on all sorts of tasks or projects, at their convenience and on-demand while receiving on-brand support and empathy from all companies they support.
My recent focus stems from the early days in my career when I noticed how undiverse the office settings were wherever I was hired amongst other challenges faced by women in man-dominated spaces. I felt like a unicorn for being there while also feeling out of place after having earned my place and I was vocal about my journey via an episode with Everything is Wine (2019). I now seek alliances with organizations that are assisting with this disparity in STEM within minority communities from girls as young as 10 to women with seasoned careers. In my spare time, you can catch me traveling to different countries around the world, taking photographs of my surroundings, eating pizza and being active in Austin’s outdoor scenery.
